Joint Use Libraries: A Panel Discussion - September 23, 2010
The conference hotel is located at 100 West 8th Street in Sioux Falls. Conference sessions will be held at the hotel and Siouxland Libraries Main Library. A block of rooms has been reserved at a rate of $89.00 single/double occupancy. Please call the hotel directly at 605.339.2000 and specify the SDLA Conference. Reservations must be made by August 22, 2010 to receive the conference rate. For those attending the 2010 SDLA Conference in Sioux Falls September 22-24, one college credit will be available through the University of Sioux Falls. Those applying for a college credit must attend 15 hours of sessions. Participants can select if they want graduate or undergraduate credit. The cost is $40.00, payable at registration. Applications will be available at the registration desk.
The Academic, Health Sciences, & Special Libraries Section of SDLA will sponsor a poster session at this year’s annual conference. The poster session will be held concurrently with the no-host social event on Thursday evening September 23 from 6:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. Members from all types of libraries are encouraged to participate.
